And, no, it's got nothing to do with the band of the same name. I dreamt about him, it was quite an elaborate dream, and a bit scary too, and I'm hoping to turn it into a proper story. This portrait one in a series of three and my original thought was to post all three together. However, I have so many things to finish at the moment that it'll most likely be a while before I can get on with the other two. So for now here's one of three.
Hope you like him.
Aaand, it's done. Huzzah. During it's final stages a slight change of direction occured as it was suggested to me that I added a hint of 'some of those useless curtains that people have wrapped around poles at the top of their windows, but they don't do anything functional' (yes, that's how it was put to me). So now this painting which was originally thought of more as a 'sickly purple skinned person being helped up by bearded blue/greeny skinned person' has become more of a 'He snuck into her boudoir at night, guess what happened next...?' kind of painting. Thank you Richard.
Also, my new favourite thing... bioluminescence!
... and it's my first ever full beard. Still very much work in progress. And it'll probably stay that way for a while seeing as I'm back to work again now, so time for painting is once again lacking. Hey ho.
